It is my proud privilege to take over the steering of this august organization which was started by VINEET KHANNA referred to as Baba Amte of Chandigarh and nurtured by mentor P.H.Vaishnav.
I am thankful for the good wishes of nearly 100 members and over a 1000 beneficiaries currently a part of the YTTS family.
I also convey my good wishes to the beneficiaries who have passed through the portals of this august society whether as youth technically trained, Pustak Children or the VAMA trained.
We are keeping up with the times and feel that now our need is also in the neighboring states. We are making a determined effort to make an impact both in Haryana and Punjab.
Our conviction is that no matter how poor the beneficiaries,, the family is the basic unit which must benefit from our efforts. The member we help must be able to act as a "Jugnu" - Glow worm to guide the whole family from darkness to light.
We would like to continue to have small centres in a number of locations- at the grass root level, rather than large bhavans which necessitate the breaking up of the family to benefit from our efforts.
