Among many others, the following affiliates have extended unlimited assistance and aid to YTTS in the recent past: The experience of Vivek High School under Mrs PK Singh helping us run the Sec 25 (Janata Colony) Center has been quite encouraging. They have helped construct the modest school building there and have committed to take care of a lot of activities on a continuing basis. Ms Rashmi Maini is looking after the project at their end. Our kids are now a part of their extended organization and are regular invitees for many of their school functions. They also help in the collection of clothes, toys, books and shoes for their less fortunate kin. Certain recurring requirements of teaching material and awards for achievers are also provided by them. |

| Similarly help from the private sector has been forthcoming. Quark Media House is a multinational IT company, which has totally adopted the Mauli Jagran Center. The CEO of Quark Inc., Fred Ebrahimi, has promised YTTS constant support in all its activities. |

| St Johns School Sec 26 - Mrs. P Cheema, the principal, has extended the premises of St. Johns to the Bapu Dham Center that is presently running in the open. Incidentally they already have an intervention in Bapu Dham and are offering a certain number of seats to the residents of this colony. |

| Shivalik Public School Sec 41 -We are aware that Shivalik Public School is already participating in nation-building work by supporting and encouraging sports persons to compete at international events. Principal Mr. DS Bedi has promised to help the Society in whatever manner possible. |

| Ajit Karam Singh IPS Sec 41 - Mr.Kalra, the Director, was very forthcoming and agreed to give us space to run a center and vocational training school. He has suggested we also set up a computer center there. |

Joint projects: We are in the process of collaborating with the Chandigarh Administration to identify and collectively work on certain issues, as tribute to our city. One of the options is to develop a Leisure Valley in the southern sectors. |

| Joint Project with CHANDIGARH NEWSLINE (CNL) - To commemorate 25 years of Indian Express in Chandigarh a proposal was made for a campaign and the E-in-C, Indian Express, Mr. Shekhar Gupta, readily agreed to provide whatever help IE could for the sake of the deprived kids of the slums. He proposed a time bound project in which YTTS and Indian Express would work in close co-ordination "to sensitize the common man of Chandigarh to the woes of the young of the Migrants in his environment and their needs and achievements." |

How to become an affiliate: It is not difficult to become an affiliate. All you need is a desire to help "...the struggling humanity." We have some basic forms and an easy and quick procedure to enroll affiliates and members. There is no mandate on HOW much you have to contribute to become a member. A kind thought, a good idea or even a small gesture is enough for you to qualify as member of our organization. |
